Botanical Printing Workshop with Susan D Martin £45

£45.00

Botanical printing is a natural dye technique where leaves are placed on paper or fabric and heated to release the dyes inside them to make images.

In this 3 hour workshop you will be using seasonal leaves gathered in Pembrokeshire to create your own designs. These can be used for special greetings cards and printed fabrics (which make a great starting point for embroidery!).  All materials will be supplied and preprepared for you, using a mordanting process which allows the dyes to bond to the fabrics – explanations will be given as we go along.

Please bring with you an apron or old clothes!
